House Clearances

Our company is registered with the environment agency Sepa, which is our guarantee that your waste is disposed of and recycled in the correct manner, our licence number is WCR/R/1161410.

We don’t always need to visit the property but with a home visit a more accurate quote can be given. A service that is popular with our clients that don’t have much time is where we visit the property at an agreed time and date with our van and two men, give you a quote and if you are happy with the price we carry out the clearance there and then. We are competitively priced and give you the best quote possible.

There is also an option where you can send us a list and pictures via email or Whatsapp and we can work out a quote from there.

No we can pick the keys up from your solicitor, estate agent or neighbour alternatively you can post us the keys. This must be done by a signed for only service. If preferred you can be present on the day or meet us there with the keys, go about your business and we will give you a call 30 minutes before the clearance is complete.

Yes we can take away all your household goods from crockery to your kitchen appliances, even your carpets can be lifted if required. The only exception we have is asbestos by law this needs to be removed by someone who is qualified and registered to do so.

Quite often we will find paperwork or photographs in behind furniture or packed away in the attic. These items will be put to one side and given to whoever has instructed us to clear the property.

The property will be left with all items requested removed and the property swept out. If a cleaning service is required this can be undertaken for an extra cost as long as prior notice is given. This is a popular service with customers who simply just don’t have the time to do it as well as estate agents and solicitors who are looking for the property to be ready to go straight onto the market.

Our cost is based upon how long it will take to clear and unload your property and take it to the nearest waste transfer station where your goods are then separated and recycled. Our vehicles are weighted upon entry and departure. We are then charged accordingly. If we believe an item is too good to be disposed of we will try our best to pass it on. As we do this in a day in day out basis our team will be able to work out your quote when we visit your property you don’t need to wait until the property is cleared.

Before we undertake the clearance we will ask you to identify any items that you went kept as once we have completed you clearance your goods will be taken to a waste transfer site or possibly a charity shop. So it would be unlikely that we could retrieve your goods.

You should look for someone who is Sepa registered, well established and has a good reputation as well as positive reviews. At Curries we have all of this. We will handle your clearance sympathetically, efficiently and with care. We offer a value for money service and take care of your every need.
